I cannot find the answers anywhere, i cannot find any guides or anything. My question is, how are there guilds level 8 to even 10 when my smaller guild finally saved up 50g and 1,000 favor for a storage unit and we got 10xp for level 0… So we are 10/100. Guys can someone please explain this to me?

Well I’m going to use my personal experience leveling my guild, so don’t take it as official I don’t know many things about this yet:

Before the expansion we had pretty much everything unlocked, before entering the Guild Initiative HQ I was asked to talk to the lady on the stairs to receive something from her, then we got leveled up to 8 I think.

After that I went in, bought some favor with influence and purchased the extra services (repairs and merchant, which were freaking useless on that tiny office, not sure if applies to GH).

Then we went to claim the GH, started purchasing the upgrades and are currently on level 10 I think, basically you upgrade your GH to gain guild experience, I suppose guild missions help too.

Where can you purchase favor with influence? I don’t see that npc was looking last night.

You get guild exp through upgrades.

I hate to break this to you, but if you’re a smaller guild, you’re basically out of luck, I’m not going to type up my full experience again, it’s in another thread, second page in this forum. But basically, just for the first few buildings, it’s going to cost you thousands of gold worth of resources. Even a small guild of all very wealthy players is going to have a hard time even getting the first few upgrades, I doubt any small guilds are going to have even remotely enough income to do these upgrade in any reasonable amount of time (we’re talking several years for smaller guilds)

I don’t remember the name of the NPC, I don’t know about Gilded Hollow but on Lost Precipice check the NPC’s around the main waypoint there’s one that exchanges influence for favor. On the Initiative HQ it’s the last NPC of the left column.

Also I don’t recommend using the 100k influence on the mines to get more aetherium yet, the first cap is 500 and we got it pretty quickly and thus wasting some time of this boost, wait until you get a larger cap to amass it quicker.

Guild xp is awarded as you unlock things, and that xp progresses your guild level.

Your guild level controls what upgrades you can choose from next, so if there’s an upgrade you want, and you can’t get it yet, you’ll need to first finish one of the upgrades avaliable to you.

Bonus guild xp and unique statues were awarded to guilds who leveled the various things in the old system, so they will start at a higher guild level, but all guilds can only access the anvil and merchant upgrades until a guild hall is claimed.

All upgrades beyond those two require your guild to first claim a hall. You’ll need to complete one guild mission for the favor (or trade is spare influence for it if you have enough) and a hundred gold to fund the expedition, then you’ll have to take the place from mordrem.

Once you have your hall, you can progress with upgrades, starting with the tavern.

Better question is, is there any point in having a guild hall?
