Q:
How does dungeon teleport works?
A:
If you’re in a party, and one of the party member’s starts a dungeon, then that window will pop up for all other members of the party (that are in the correct open world zone).
It’ll also pop up if you join a party with member(s) in the dungeon (while you are in the correct open world zone), or if you zone into the open world zone while party member(s) are in a dungeon.
What do you mean by Dungeon Teleport?
The window you get that teleports you to the dungeon. You press the button and it teleports you to the dungeon, so you don’t have to go to the waypoint and enter the dungeon with the portal.
Ok, so you need to be in the zone where the dungeon is to get the teleportation. I kinda want to have the teleport to work wherever you are.
But thanks for clearing things up.
I’ve always wished they would just drop that requirement of needing to be in the zone. I’ve seen many people leave the group because of it. It’s not a good way to introduce dungeons to new players at all.
That window will pop up as long as:
- Someone entered the dungeon.
And
- The player outside is in the same Explorable zone.
If the panel is closed, there’s a simple way to bring it back:
- Do anything that makes the loading screen appear and ends up with you in the same zone.
For example, using a waypoint within the same area far enough for the loading screen to appear. Or leaving and returning to the map (e.g.: Going to the PvP lobby and leaving with the buttons in the PvP panel).
