As per the title, specifically I would like to know if you can teleport back to the position you left? Like when you port to the heart of the mists for example.

Nah, you can port there by double clicking, but you can’t get back to where you were. There is an Asura gate that will give you the option to go to any of the major cities though.

So all it is (compared to going through the heart of the mists to LA) is skipping a single loading screen? That… is incredibly lame, thanks a lot for letting me know though.

One more important thing: you need the pass while you’re there as well, so you can’t port in, leave the pass in the bank, and log back in later with the first character and remain inside.

I was hoping to use it as a fast way to move my unlimited gathering tools between characters, but no luck.

Personally, I think it’s great due to my impossible slow load times into TC LA. it’s a better place to end my playtime, easier, and quicker.

The forge is what does it for me, btw.

it’s main value to me is that the crafting stations are right next to trading post npc and the mystic forge

I rarely use the forge, but I don’t see people mentioning this in any of these threads :P I like having everything in a tiny box, plus I hate LA. It’s just a nice little convenience item that cost like 55g at the time I purchased it, that I use for a one stop shop.

I just hope it doesn’t get overcrowded since I like to play the market in peace.

There’s a 2 week version, or was, that was like 200 gems (?). This one is permanent/account bound, but you have to move it around like the unlimited gathering tools if you want to use it on different characters. It’s 1000 gems atm, but will go up in a little over an hour. I’m guessing it’ll be 1500, but it might be 1250 or such, not sure yet :P

That and it puts just about every type of contact in one spot.

Just bought this item myself. I will mainly be using it for crafting (nice and close to TP) and for a free teleport to DR. I wont need to use the old tele to SPvP then to LA anymore either as this takes me right to an asura gate with access to all the other cities so it cuts out 1 loading screen. Worth 1k gems tho? That I’m still yet to decide on….
