Guild Wars 2

I have not played Guild Wars 2 since around release. At the time end game was lacking and I did not have the PC to handle PVP or the dragon world bosses I remember doing.
With the announcement of raids, I’m interested in playing again and I have the PC to handle it.
What has changed and what have they added?

If you haven’t played since release, but are interested, I would say now is a great time to get back in. With the upcoming expansion there are a ton of new changes for every player. Since you are concerned with endgame content, of the top of my head there will be…

Masteries
New legendary weapons/armor
Raids
Class specializations
PvP leagues/seasons
New WvW map/expanded mechanics
Guild Halls
New stuff to do in the expansion maps like “adventures”

Nothing of any significance has changed, gameplay wise. Everything Bunnytown listed is features for the expansion, which we can’t confirm first hand yet. Performance has actually gotten worse, the game is pretty badly optimized.

Raids don’t exist yet, so I’m not counting that. We’ll see if when the expansion comes if they are any good or not.

Well the most obvious change is the trait revamp.
You no longer have 5 lines
Instead you chose 3 of those 5 lines +1 when expansion hits.
And fully max out all 3. (before you had points for 2 max and 1 75% if i dont rmember wrong.)

Other then that nothing is holding you back to download the game and see for yourself what changed.

Has a list of stuff that has changed over the years of GW2. Keep in mind, it is a year old, but still gives you the basic rundown of what you’ve missed since the beginning. It is sorted by their likes and dislikes, but don’t let that sway you. Just use it for information at least.
