Guild Wars 2

A year’s worth of patch notes is a bit too much for me to wade through. I took a break about a year ago. Can anyone give me a brief summary of how the classes have changed?
Is it just number crunching or have there been any big changes?
Is guardian still really strong? Is sword guardian still the best DPS guardian? Has dagger elementalist become any better at solo play?
