Title says it all, I can not seen to beat this Mordemoth jungle dragon and it is driving me insane. I have spent the last, idk, 5 hours straight, trying to beat this guy. Every time I get stuck trying to activate the second Divine Fire Ring and I just can not do it. Am I supposed to have people with me, or is this something I just have to learn to do solo?

This is my first lvl 80 character. I have been playing off and on for the last year or so and I mainly have stuck to the personal story because it keeps me intrigued.

It’s definitely (easily imo) doable solo since the fixed the glider shenanigans. If your build isn’t enough to get you through, try starting there or find some help.

He’s talking about Mordremoth I think. Not the Shadow Dragon. I assume he’s getting wrecked by Marjory.

i cant think of another fight where one would use the word divine to describe anything

Party up with another player. Make one of you the dedicated dead ragdoll. The dragon will only attack the instance owner (the person who opens the instance).

Have the instance owner die somewhere in the middle, watch the dragon attack the corpse and take your sweet time extinguishing the flames.

The fight isn’t that hard. But your post doesn’t give that much insight as to what you are doing either.

Yeah that part didn’t click the first time and I thought he meant the portals. O.o my bad. There is another fight where you’d use the words ‘this Mordremoth jungle dragon’ instead of “the Shadow Dragon”. :p

Ohhh, shoot, I am so sorry yall. Yea, I am still new to the game. I am in the part where I just planted the Dream Seed and see Caithe and her sisters. Then after the dream sequence, Caithe screams there is the shadow Dragon. I do apologize, I thought mordemoth or what ever, was his name.

stand in the divine fire buff, range down the shadow that spawns. Run with divine fire to dome and light it.

Repeat till complete.

It’s not that hard, bring defensive stuff if you’re having trouble. I did the achievements alone too
