From what I understand, the story’s been changed, main cities have been destroyed, etc.
Last played a few years ago I’d guess.
Never mind, I guess I answered my own question… I’ll just start over and see where that goes.

Don’t delete any of your old toons. The story hasn’t changed; it’s progressed and new characters and ‘old’ ones will see the same Tyria.

Never mind, I guess I answered my own question… I’ll just start over and see where that goes.
The personal barely changed. It was cleaned up, slightly reordered and amended. The vast majority would never notice. Apart from the last instance, i noticed nothing.
Only one city was destroyed and rebuilt. The rest are unchanged.
There are barely any changes to the world since launch. Some new zones, kessex got a bit destroyed, but otherwise zero impact on returning players. Id advise rolling new toons and going back to old toons later.
