As the second of three elite specialization reveals planned for the next few weeks,* ArenaNet have released the first details of the guardian elite specialization: the Dragonhunter.

Just wondering how long the wait will be to see the next 3?

They seem to give one specialization each week on thursday.

I would guess we will get one or two weeks with other info (Guild Halls, Group stuff) and then the rest after that.

It says “Second of Three”, sounding like there will be a break before the next 3 will be revealed…

I could be wrong, but the pattern suggests that a medium armor class will be next week’s reveal…Looking forward to hearing about Necro which could be many weeks away if there is a break in between specialization sets.

My guess, the break is for the upcoming Closed Beta, during which you most likely won’t be revealing much if any information at all, or releasing information that surrounds the Close Beta itself, before returning to dishing out information again.

I’d rather want to know if there’s anything else to look forward to in GW2. Season 2 ended January 13. It’s been 5 months already, and no release date for HoT. We don’t even know when Beta is starting. We might be looking at six months to a whole year until HoT comes out.

I don’t know, I’d wager that the third one is going to be Druid on the basis that the first two have gone in alphabetical order:

Dragonhunter
Druid

No tempest it will be Master of Aspects or Mage of Jungle – related to lore when elementalist need to asimilate to jungle element.

Except it’s already been confirmed that Tempest is the Elementalist’s Elite Spec.

I have a feeling (and hope) Thief will be the next reveal. It will likely be a medium armour prof, engi seemed to still be in a fair bit of flux at the moment and I get the feeling that Anet will want to show us something we know little about. As we know the ranger is getting staff and is called the Druid, I suspect Thief is next on the cards as we know very little about it other than it might get rifle.

After that I suspect we will get a PvE beta followed by some other information, such as guild halls or something. Then we will get another portal event and three more profession reveals.

We will quite likely get a picture later today that will show us which is up this week ^^

They still posted it in the morning over here last time. And wel morning is almost over. So i assume no reveal this week.

Same with Dragonhunter.

It is still early. Way too early to make assumptions.

Well, according to my Facebook, the teaser pics were shown at 5pm British Time. That means if they follow that then the next one will be released in around 1/2 hour.

Patience is a virtue (though not one of the Guardians).
