I suspected it took roughly a year, but as the page says, “we’ve spent over a year” was a bit surprising. I wonder exactly how long they have been working on it? It does however confirm the suspicion that the LS content was all but thrown aside to do the expansion though. Any thoughts?

Some of it was started soon after the release of the game (a point of interest talking about the new maps stated this). Other bits later.

well, I figured that there was a small team working on it much earlier, but im gathering that it was the whole team for well over a year? I really hope HoT is worth that year+ !
