Q:
How make golds on Cultural armor ?
I did it by not farming. I play around in different areas, do dungeons runs, do fractal stuff, etc, and by not staying in one area and boring myself to death killing the same enemies over and over or doing the same quest chain over and over, I have made over 100 gold since I started.
Farming is the least effective way to get gold to be completely honest.
Precursors aside, the current systems for the economy and obtainment of gold are good. Why mess with a good system. Well, apart from trying to get twice as many people as normal to show up on Sunday noon.
http://www.gw2spidy.com/ – watch for market fluxes, but watch out the crafting tab is sadly not updating that fast so unless you have satchel/box/feast recipies, its not really worth watching that much (with constant live maket you make 50~ copper pre post unless you go for the really expensive stuff that ususually costs more to post than the profit you get).
Guys i had 300hours played 100% world complete 400 bot proffesions fractal lvl 9 but i cant believe how you make 100golds from dungeons.. pff . Golds what you make i must spent to waypoints / repairs / food : profit? few silvers and if i want cultural armor (JUST kitten skin) i must play year or what..
Bloodrager, I understand your frustration, I really do.
You do have to understand though that the cultural armours were put into the game for a long term goal. Try not to be so fixated on it, enjoy the game and keep it on the back burner for later in the game.
That what I plan to do. I am saving for the T3 human heavy.
If you have a good guild and can run 3-6 fractals a day, after repair costs and averaging drops you can make 1-2g a day without much effort. In a month you can have your full set of T3 gear, two if you are unlucky with drops.
Protip:
Sell everything you get.
If you want to break it down, only salvage items that give you valuable mats, otherwise vendor them. Check rares on the TP before vendoring or salvaging.

just bought my second T3 set for my norn ranger. first set took really long, but as i progressed, i got better at saving and getting money farming/grinding stuff. selling materials helped me out so much!
I’m a bit broke too. Around a gold but I’m only 55. I guess I could make more money selling salvage items, But I tend to salvage a item if it says ’salvage item’ on it. Everything else gets vended. I do take unnecessary risks so a lot of my waste is repairs and porting. Ive never sold mats, I bet thats my biggest issue. They all get thrown into the collections.
