Hey all As a player myself I only got 6 character slots and only got four level 80s. I guess I am in the minority of the veteran players, as I have probably 80% of my play time on my Warrior:P

So I was wondering how many characters people actually have.

To make it easy to look through I would ask to follow this format listed below
Z = Total number of characters
X = Insert number of characters for said proffesion
Y = Insert level(s) of said professions.

One of each class ( all but engineer are 80) and two empty slots.

One of each, except with an extra warrior instead of a ranger.

There are players with over 65…

I have 6 characters, each profession besides engineer and necromancer. Those 6 are all level 80.

Plan on having one of each with the Reverent.

8 level 80s, one of each profession. Then 4 level 21s that are mules, profession not really important but 1 guardian, 2 Mesmers and one ranger.

Meh I will make this simple to answer. One of each class so thats 8. However I am playing another engi now just for laughs (actually started him to test the “new” which is now old and gone system of unlocking the traits). I have another slot simply for key farming when I feel like doing that. I also had previously bought another slot for Rev some time back when I had some spare gold that I converted to gems. However being that I bought deluxe preorder I now have another 2 slots so who knows what I plan to do with all of those lol….

Summary:

8 full chars with world complete (also had another one done whom I have deleted).
Empty slots for Rev and whatever else comes in the future.

I may level my revenant up naturally, but I have 80+ tomes of knowledge on standby just in case. Been also thinking of rolling a second race of a class to play with racials. Thinking sylvari/asuran ranger, charr warrior, or human engineer(make him a priest)

Just out of curiosity why would one have 2 accounts for 15 chars when 1 account easily can cover 15 chars? What advantage would there be to it?

It’s not exactly double since we can’t trade them. Sure you could buy some certain things and mail them to your other account but it’s not exactly double laurels in the sense you can buy say an ascended amulet or ring in half the time.

At this point I only use laurels to buy t6 to either save or sell on the TP. So, essentially, I do get double laurels that I just convert into gold via said t6. The dyes are definitely not worth it now.

It is exactly double laurels. Having twice the amount of something that you would normally only get half for is usually considered double. It doesn’t matter what you spend them on, the fact that you get twice the amount means it is exactly double.

Just having them available is getting double, even if you don’t spend them at all.

For me, I spend my second account’s laurels on t6 mats. I’m hoarding my first account’s laurels until I determine exactly what I want to do with them.

one of each class, except ele which I have two. All my characters are 80 and I don’t play fugly charr or asurans either (their armor is too ugly on them ). Of my 9 characters around 3/4 of my play time is on my eles. tough I’ve clocked around 1k hours between my warrior and ranger. I can’t wait for HoT so I can maybe not feel complete boredom when I play my mesmer… poor thing has less than 200 hours.

Ideally, 1 lv80 of every profession (9) + 3 character on different level tiers for salvaging cloth.

So 12 is my goal. I’m at 11 atm.
