I hear they are actually grabbing alot of features from GW2 to add to their expansion…they are just getting desperate to retain super high numbers to justify asking for a sub fee for “servers”
pvp normalization, reduced skill bloat, personal instanced gathering nodes, mob tagging, gliding, Wardrobe system, more “dynamic events”, reduced stat bloat, specialization swapping

They can’t grab one thing from Guild Wars 2. Guild Wars 2 is more than a bunch of individual features. It’s how the features that are in the game interact with each other. Unless they add them all, it’ll still just be WoW with some features. It doesn’t work because this game is more than the sum of its parts.
Is this like Wildstar, Archage, BDo, Tera…they come they go.
Um . . . you know it’s possible to play more than one game at a time . . . don’t you? I never did understand this kind of thinking. These are games. Not exclusive relationships where you dare not cheat on your significant other.

I often will play console games, or civilisation in between gw2..But investing time in 2 or more mmo’s is tricky unless you literally don’t do anything else.

Honestly.. I’ve been a WoW player since the beginning… I’ve played thru all kinds of horrible expansions and patches with that game. I was so pumped for Legion.. pre-bought the game.. The newest pre-patch hit with all the class changes.. I was so disgusted I demanded a refund of my legion purchase, got it and came straight here and picked up HoT on the sale.
Am not even regretting bailing on warcraft with the changes this new expansion is bringing on. They gutted every class that uses distance attacking and frankly the only “fun” class now is the outlaw rogue.. the rest of the classes have been dumped on in favor of their new demonhunter class which didn’t look even remotely appealing to me.
We are locking this thread as it has run its course.
