How many times do I have to report someone?
I’m pretty sure there are no in-game GMs. It seems like everything gets routed through offline channels, where CS reps read the tickets, check the logs, and push the ban button.
There’s no way some of these exploits (the guys flying in PvP??) wouldn’t get handled with an IMMEDIATE banhammer if the game had in-game GMs on call.
Yeah I know about that. I just find it so unfair that I have to spend my time trying to collect materials to sell to make a few gold a day and they have this bot going that has been farming for days. That is just completely unfair.
It’s often smart to bundle up bans into mass-bans. They might spend some time gathering data on exploits and bots first, which could be useful in banning them later. And in case some exploiters have found several they abused, but ArenaNet only banned them for one they saw, they also don’t know which one caused them to be banned :)
I’d say weekly, or bi-weekly. That’s just my professional opinion.
It’s a waste of time to log into the game every few minutes to check the millions of reports on players they are getting.
I’m sure they go in game and monitor the bots while invisible, collect information and as Hedyn said; pop a mass ban like they have already done.

There are no in game GM’s. They cant go in game to monitor them.
dw man people are getting banned!! (maybe not bots but people who swear in public chat aka me)

Maybe there are. Maybe they can log in as disembodied entities who can watch without you ever knowing they were there. I know the GM clients for other MMOs have features like that, so a developer or administrator can log in without having to create characters for visual observation.
Yet another bot in action: http://youtu.be/6KgFvM6KKzA
I have no desire to play BotWars, which this game seems to be in the pve areas. I have already resubbed a former MMO. I like this game and will come back to it, once the bots are eliminated and that annoying drop penalty removed.
Sorry to break it to you, but almost every major MMO has a bot problem. This is something that will never be 100% wiped out. Once they kill one bot, a new developer will find a way to make another, and the cycle continues.
I just ignore them or train groups of mobs to them and have them killed. Really Fun.
I don’t even know if this is where I should post it
It’s not here. It’s at an email address:

Hi everyone.
Please, keep on using the in-game reporting system, since it is the fastest way to help us dealing with this issue. The team is fully aware of these problems and working on them. However, we would like to ask for a little bit of patience until the reported issues are looked into.
Thank you very much for your concerns.
I will proceed now to lock this thread.
