I have opened a chest yesterday in attemp to find a rare item in there, and it still didnt reset (did it around 22 +- hours ago)

In general, they reset at the same time the daily resets.

Be careful what you ask for
ANet may give it to you.

I see, hmm…. In how much time from now do the dailys reset?

Any daily chest resets at 8pm EST. The same time you get your daily rewards.

For the confused Europeans among here: It’s 2 AM for most of EU (+1 gmt) give or take an hour depending on timezone.

Legendary weapons can be hidden now!
No excuse anymore for not giving ‘hide mounts’-option
No thanks to unidentified weapons.
