Guild Wars 2

Since the finale of Season 1 of the Living World, I log in maybe once a week to check out the new gem store items, and then log back out. Am I the only one that has become incredibly bored of this game as of late? In the mean time I have been playing some FF X which is fun, just waiting for Season 2 to start up again I guess.

Every day. If anything, the ending of LS has increased my playing times.

Why catch up on alts? I have three lvl 80’s and can’t seem to get my fourth up to 80 or even finish world exploration with him. I guess I am just bored of exploring the same world for the fourth time, I’ve seen the sights, they’re old news now lol :P

OP, The obvious cure for lack of will to play is setting a goal, if you for some reason play this game solely for the PvE. Which is something I can’t really understand when there are better choices. I swear Runescape years ago had more exciting PvE than this game.

Every single day. I work on Dailies, then the Living Story (currently the Tournament), then if I have time left, I do more mapping/exploration on my characters to get them through the game. I’m currently up to the level 50-60 maps.

Its interesting for some people. I’ve gone to the extent over the last couple of weeks of getting three alts to 29 so they can start on the new skill point system straight away (if that’s how its going to work). And I have 14 80s btw.

Oh, and as for the topic: every day!

I log on once a day, unless the connection is bad and keeps DCing me. In that case I log on several times a day, but only after saying a lot of bad words.

weekdays : 3-5 hours a day, after work
saturday : morning – midnight
sunday : evening – midnight

every day. at the very least to do the dailies, more if i can afford the time

Every night. Helping my server to tournament winner is motivation enough to keep me logging in.

Most every day. I’m getting back into the tempo of normal play. Living Story is kind of disruptive to that.

hell yeah, why there is no any warning like “extensive real life may hurts your game experience and/or be a reason for headache, heart diseases, commit suicide,. etc”

Yeah I also usually log on/off several times a day because of family reasons. RL can be such a detriment to your gaming “career” sometimes

Because some of us play characters. It’s not exactly RPing, but all my characters are different to me. How they react to things, what they do in game. Playing through the game on a different character, for me, is like a different game.

It’s not just me and a whole lot of other MEs. It’s very different. A lot of people don’t play like this but a lot do. I blame pen and paper RPs. lol

One to three times a day, usually. Sometimes, more often. Working on leveling up my last two professions to 80 (one is in the 60s, one in the 70s), and…as always…running my key farmer.

I would like to play more WvW, but I always feel lost there. Lol.

Every other day. Thought I’d use the time between updates to play through all the personal stories.

At least once every day to fight in WvW, gotta make sure my server rules supreme!

I was leveling a mesmer, but not a fan of their playstyle, so now I’m leveling an ele. I’ve also been playing WvW. Good craic with the necro in there.

I log in every day that I am not on vacation in some exotic location.

I have 5 L80s for about a year now but only one has 100% world complete. The others will finish over time, just have no interest in rushing. None of them has tried the final Personal Storyline mission because it stopped being personal at that point.

When I get bored with one part of the game, I move on to something different.

Now that the Living Story is done, I find myself logging on more and enjoying the game more.

Daily. Do about 10 matches of pvp, do both dailies, a little map exploration and than World vs World.

Dungeons when guidlies need extras.

Actually the responses to this thread surprised me. WIth all the complaining you see, and the people talking about how the game is empty, a bunch of people seem to be logging it pretty often. Not too many have answered that say they’re barely logging in.

It’s nice to see I’m not the only one who enjoys this game.

GW2 is my primary free-time activity. So every day.

I could see less if I pigeonholed myself into PvE. I don’t knock the PvE too much, every games PvE eventually goes stale. But WvW and sPvP are fun as hell. I’ve been light on the sPvP lately, but with the coming changes I see myself visiting it more.

Four 80’s and more coming, two world completes, 1 legendary and a bunch of Ascended. I stay engaged through always having a project, and the fun folks I’ve met in WvW.

No more, no less than before. I try to log on nightly for at least an hour or so after I get home from work and make dinner, but it really depends on how late it is at that time. I’m up early, so I go to bed early.

I am on every weekend though. Before, after, and between my various errands and housework.

Everyday (or almost everyday) for me. Just got my first precursor and just got into WvW so they’re my two goals at the moment.

At least once a day to do the dailies.
