I’ve noticed a severe drop in our server population, particularly in mid-high level zones. I know we’re outnumbered in wvw as well and the score totally reflects that. How has your servers population faired? Have gotten an increase or decrease in population over the past month or so?

We’re doing pretty good on Blackgate…

Is there a comprehensive search function like in that other MMO that lets you easily find out exactly how many are on the server, in a zone, which class, ect, ect?

You allways get into overflow when in Lions Arch on the Desolation server, also quite long queues for WvW. Haven’t been to Orr for a while now so can’t say anything about that.

We are also second ranked in WvW so we should have quite a lot of people.

I’m on Desolation and the low level areas all seem to have plenty of activity. I haven’t made it into high level areas yet but I assume from what I’ve heard that they’re busier.

gunner ! have people but at WvW seems every 1 sleep at same time so we lose everything !

On Emhry, running around the lower level zones for Asuran and Sylvari and you’ll see perhaps 3-4 people playing near you doing hearts. In human (still by far the most popular race) starting zone you see a reasonably good number.

I play on Tarnished Coast and I have no idea. On one day there was literally no one in Harathi Hinterlands and I was soloing events, and then the next day it was bustling with people and we did a lot of events together.

Since it’s the only unofficial RP server it’s probably still in good shape though.

Agree, it’s often very quiet. PVE is often too difficult because of the lack of others to assist with some of events and more difficult areas.

Yep. I spam LA for around 30 minutes just to find a group to do dungeons with. Map chats are empty, I do dynamic events by myself 90% of the time because nobody is in the zones with me.

On Jade Quarry I’ve noticed a lack of players in certain areas. It seems like the lower level areas are starting to become more and more deserted*. I don’t know about the higher level areas though as I’m only level 52 on my main character. Since Jade Quarry is one of the most populated servers I’m actually kind of surprised. I heard good things about some of the EU servers and Blackgate however so I’m interested in seeing how this thread turns out.

My assumption of the lower level areas being deserted is based on the fact that I’ve seen 1-2 people running by and never really see anyone talking in these areas.*

Tarnished Coast feels good to me, and that’s probably because we are the unofficial RP server for the US. Having all the RPers here keeps our population up.

Gate of Madness is fairly deserted. Nearly all DEs must be solo’d, especially in 25-70 zones. WvW is deserted except peak hours, when there might be a 1-minute queue.

I like the sound of that. I’ve been patiently waiting for guesting so I can join my secondary RP guild. Now there’s another reason: leveling alts (assuming RP players level alts).

Yaks Bend is very good. I see people all of the time no matter which area I play in.
