How to Multibox GW2?
If you are using Windows , you can allow 1 of the PCs to accept Remote Desktop connection, then you turn both PCs on, but from 1 of the PCs you just access the other by Remote Desktop.
That way you don’t need to walk to the other room, you just need to alt+tab and open the window.
EDIT: Remote Desktop is not a 3rd party tool, it is a Windows tool, probably already installed in your computer.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
But nowhere i could find a tutorial on how to Multibox GW2 without any Third Party Program.
It’s not possible to do it without the help of any additional programs. GW2 simply does not allow itself to be opened more than once at the same time by default. Using a program however, you can prevent that.
Here’s a simple method to do it using only tools that are supported by Microsoft. All you need is Process Explorer.
First, add -shareArchive to your GW2 shortcut. Note that this option will prevent the game from being updated, so you’ll have to run the game normally every update.
Start the game using the shortcut and open Process Explorer as an administrator. In Process Explorer, locate Gw2.exe and click on it. On the bottom half of the window is a list of items. Click the list and press M to scroll to the Mutant objects (sort the list by type). Right click the one named “AN-Mutex-Window-Guild Wars 2” and close it. Alternatively, you can press CTRL+F and simply search for it. You’ll need to close this handle every time you want to open a new client, since every client you open will recreate it.

This was the tip I was missing! Thanks. I tried running two executables with two data files and could never get it to work.
multiwars
…works great.
I use VM Player to run windows 10 (yeah, beta version) and the second account of GW2 in that. Works like a champ.
+1 for Multiwars. It will let you spawn as many GW2 launchers as you want.
Laptop: M6600 – 2720QM, AMD HD6970M, 32GB 1600CL9 RAM, Arc100 480GB SSD
I don’t use multiwars, because I’m kind of the paranoid type. I’m too worry about hacks or virus.
A easy way is to just use a hexeditor. For example hexedit.
Make a duplicate of your Guild Wars 2 folder. Use hexedit to open GW2.exe, and find and replace every “Guild Wars 2” and replace it with “Guild Wars 3”.
You have to do that with every new patch though.
But the thing is, it is way too hard to play multiple account at the same time, especially if you dont’ have multiple monitor. Because there is no follow command. I seen a guy from Thailand able to play 2 account at the same time pretty well, he was doing cof farm or frost gauge farm, and I didn’t really notice he is playing with 1 computer. I never asked how he did it though. But me personally, I think it is almost impossible to play 2 account at the same time like 2 person playing 2 account.

It can be done look at laokoko.7403 post and its the same way I run 3 clients at once on one pc, as long its one mouse, keyboard and one person input per client Anet allows it.
“ANet. They never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity to not mess up.”
Mod “Posts created to cause unrest with unfounded claims are not allowed” lmao

That’s the worst way you could do it. Although a trivial change, modifying the game is a violation.
It would be really great for us and lucrative for anet if they would care to clarify this topic to us…

They already did

Also they already said acitve manipulation of the game file( yes thats excactly you are doing with hexedit) is forbidden

erm.. im not “hexediting” but suuure. The answer im looking for is such as multiwars is allowed and such and such is not so we are not guessing what is ok thus putting our accounts in jeopardy. I myself open my 2nd acct on a laptop but its very clunky way to do it.

just follow the links
its clearly said that it is ALLOWED cause multiwars or closing the an mutex exe is NOT manipulating the game file! (same behaviour/simulation as you play on two 2 PCs at same time or at an virtual OS)
Of course their will be no support for this . same way as their is no support for problems with gem/sweet fx but this should be clear
