Guild Wars 2

I remember when I started playing this game. It was so good and everyone talked about it. It was fun running around swinging stuff and exploring the world, reading the Lore and wanting more.
But I reach lvl 80 and only saw one boring objective, getting a legendary. I mean I feel like you could only play guild wars 2 once, because after 100% Map completion you just knew everything and the magic was gone, I got as far as about 40% of completing my Legendary and that was the last straw, everyday was “Dailies, Dragons, Temples, CoF farms, Orr Farm”. So I just said goodbye, hoping it would change. I got back to play Adventure box once again, but it was once again a “Play one time it is fun, play more and it gets uninteresting”, so once again I left.
Now I got back for about 5 minutes and left the game once again, because I just couldn’t find anything to do in this game, I don’t think Arenanet can bring me back into this game, and now that I see, I regret my purchase because of how little I got to enjoy the Wonderful part of guild wars 2…

don’t worry, they want to force you to do everything in the game on order to grind-craft an ascended weapon but they still won’t let anybody craft a precursor.

Amazing game design.

There’s not even a kitten point to ascended gear in the first place -_- … this game….

If you truly have see IT ALL (which I highly doubt) then maybe this lack of carrot on a stick just doesn’t work for you. I have played through queensdale countless times, and I always find something new that I had no idea was there. Stop looking for some grind carrot on a stick and start playing for fun with friends. If you can’t do that then you may as well play something else.

Play for fun with friends. But don’t come complaining on the forums when you try wvwvw and get stomped by people with top end gear that takes months to complete cause then white knights like this guy will tell you just play for fun: other people’s fun at your expense.

Of course if you’d like an even playing field, which many find “fun” (or mandatory), then expect to grind for months.

Which is what exactly zero people expected from this game.

And how does your attack on my character have anything to do with what I said? Congrats on the deflection and ad hominen.

Because wanting a level playing field somehow makes me a content locust? I’m usually a gamer who sticks with games for years. You don’t know me so don’t judge me, bro.

I stopped playing GW2 after the last Halloween event because I really wasn’t enjoying it and was annoyed by a lot of things about the game. But I just came back, deleted some of my old characters, rolled a thief, and have been having a good time. But then I am not one of those people who just has to have the best items in the game and my farming style fits in nicely with ANet’s implemented philosophy about farming. I just cruze around joining events that happen to happen where I am, explore, do just a little harvesting, and just bumping around.

NCSoft is the publisher, not the developer. That have little to due with the final form of either game.

When I get a bit bored, I grab one of my characters (80 or not) and go explore. Its amazing all the little details ANet has put into the game that people never seem to notice.

If exploring isn’t for you, grab a guild with a like-mind. WvW was what saved me from quitting the game back in January. I found a great WvW guild and have been dedicated to keeping my server in T1 since then.

There are things, and just like any other MMO, its not going to be given to you. You have to be willing to look for it.. i.e. know what type of player you really are and explore that aspect.
