How to find names of previous party members?
There is no way, that I know of. Just have to take a screenie, once, during each run. =/
If they were talking you should have names in the chat log.

From my experiences, comments made in party chat disappear when you are no longer in the party.

Off-topic, but I would find it hilarious if the OP was kicked during Arah Story Mode. XD
But yeah, the only real way at the moment to safeguard yourself from that is to take a screenshot during the run.
The only way to safeguard yourself is to start the instance.
It would be nice if Anet introduced a similar system as in gw1, where it showed on your friends list who your recent team mates were.
