If i am right you have to be artificer and get lucky in the mystic forge with alot of rare stakitten right?

I’m gonna admit, I laughed a little when I saw this. Anyway, you do not have to be an artificier, but the “get lucky” part is right. Just try shoving a bunch of rares/exotics in the mystic forge and hope for the best. Also, use exotics. Worked for me

You don’t have to be an artificer. But you do to finish making the legendary (at least on a character on your account).

But yes, you either have to throw a lot of rare/exotic staves into the mystic forge, or be lucky with drops in open world/boss chests/dungeon chests.

IMO i think its better to try and get a greatsword precursor because there seems to be more greatsword exotic weapons and they are often times worth more than staves. Then use the money you get from that (if you do get a precursor) to buy the legend. Make sure however to craft the greatswords or the staves as it costs less than buying them.
