How to insert '?' in the name?
Pretty sure that the game doesn’t allow question marks as part of a name. Only letters and some accent marks.

The last step is to choose a name for your character, which can include from 3 to 19 characters. Names must be composed entirely of letters and (optional) spaces; names always use title case (i.e. the first letter of each word is capitalized) and must begin with a letter.
For non-space characters, the English versions of the game allow the standard 26 letters of the alphabet along with accented letters such as à and è. All client versions on all servers also allow ÄÖÜ Umlauts in name while a German keyboard layout is used.
I have no idea what a stripe bar is unless you mean /, \, or |.
ANet may give it to you.
‘|’ Like this one. Thank you for you write on this to reply. I will try on this to use name.
Perhaps what you’re calling a stripe bar was a capital letter i like this, I Drizzt I. Not a stripe bar | Drizzt | which isn’t allowed.
ANet may give it to you.
No it ‘|’ didn’t work into naming. I think he maybe use his name likes
I Drizzt I
Yes. People use capital i a lot as I to put that mark in front of or behind a name.

Thank you for reply this idea on my thread.

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this guy. Besides thinking that hardly anybody does the Drizzt way anymore (as far I’ve seen) I also thought his “border” was fairly original. I’d never seen it before anyway.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
Assassin’s Creed 2’s I Ezio Auditore I is already in use…Too many people
put that mark in front of or behind a name…
It’s highly unlikely you’ll get any form of Drizzit at this point. It’s a ridiculously common name in MMOs so usually one of the first to have every single variation taken.
Unless you make up a title or last name to pair it with, which isn’t taken from one of the books. Something like Drizzit Duath. (I have no idea if that name is taken, but Duath is a Sindarin word for darkness so it seems appropriate.)

Thingol is come from ‘The Silmarillion" but Drizzt(not Drizzit) Do’Urden is come from
‘Dungeon and Dragons’ and very famous for that game player.

I know. That’s why I said a Sindarin last name is less likely to be taken, because it’s not directly connected to the character so less people will make the association, but it also still seems somewhat appropriate because it’s still Elven, and the word means darkness.
(I didn’t actually notice your account name until afterwards. Translating words into other languages is my usual way of creating interesting names that aren’t already in use and Quenya is one of the ones I use most often. But the Quenya word is Lumbule, which I think sounds too feminine, and the page I was using had the Sindarin on there as well. The fact that you’re obviously a fan was an added bonus.)
