How to make the events/bosses +challenging !
Agony and more HP is just gating and artificial difficulty, not challenge.
Why do you want Tquatl buffed, again? It would kill it. It already offers poor rewards for an already tough to organise event, why make it worse?
AR check and more HP do not mean challenge. Just mean make fight longer and require some gear. Sorry you do not understand real challenge.
Real challenge for world boss would be if boss change way attack random and player fight have to react to this. This way zerg on boss have to adjust to what happen and do not know until fight start.

ITT: Why ANet is “successful”
Making something a damage sponge with arbitrary aoe damage doesn’t make it challenging, and has nothing to do with skill.
AR’s do not equate to player skill. And you can’t zerg Teq anymore, otherwise its bonewall city. You need turrets manned which means you also need defense teams. if you want a greater challenge think about mechanics.
