Are you tired of seeing the teleporting bots at resource nodes and having no way to report them because they teleport out of range to quick? Well here is a neat little trick to speed up the reporting of them. It is real simple and can be done with 2 button presses. First hit whatever button you have set to target nearest ally. Once you have them targeted all you have to do is hit “P” and invite them to your party. Once the invite is sent you can report them at your leisure even if they do not accept the invite.

This is a neat idea, hadn’t thought of it. Not only do I hope they do not lock this post, it would not be a bad idea to sticky it or include it in some stickied post about reporting bots.

There is another trick. if you are in farming session. always ready to press screen shot. so if you see someone suddenly pop up. just press ss. then look at your ss folder. Pm that person. then report…

Doesn’t work anymore i noticed, i used to report them, but now they are so fast its impossible..

Unless its a Rich node, i find the bots are way too fast to report anymore..

Basically..

Appear and Disappear (in the time it takes to read those three words) they are gone..

So that explains it. Saw my first one today. You’re right, they are very very fast.

I never understood how the teleport hack works isn’t this stuff server sided?

The game client still has to report to the server about your character’s current position and what you’re doing (the server can’t predict in what direction you’re going to run next, for example, or whether you’re going to cast Fireball or Flame Burst on an Elementalist). Most teleport hacks in games involve using a hacked game client that sends false data to the server about your current location.

How can you even “guarantee” those are hacks. They might just log in and log out. Or log out to loss agro and log back in.

I’m really just asking because I do see this sort of behavior from time to time. And I’m uncertain if I should report because they might be just log in and log out or going to heart of the mist etc. It is hard to tell.

I don’t want to report wrong people by mistake.

ive seen a few suddenly appear vanish mostly before i was even able to write their name down always thought it was ppl logging in then out again.
but yesterday i was parked up eating my dinner when this guy appeared i saw him teleport around all 7 nodes in my view (4 wood 3 copper ) i wasint lagging when i went to report him it said he wasint on line
