What it says in the title – is there a good way to report them at all?
At the moment, all i can do is hope to see them long enough to actually click on them and remember their name (and only if it’s an easy enough name to remember at first glance). Then i put them in my contact list and report them from there.
Needless to say, most bots i “see” (the 2-3 seconds that they’re actually on screen) i can’t report this way – they’re simply too quick or have too weird a name (or even worse, too common a name so i can’t be sure the one i’m reporting is actually the bot or some innocent player who has the same name, but with an extra apostrophe or something).

Screenshots aren’t fast enough and recording my each and every play-session seems a tad too excessive.
So what else is there to do, if anything? Has anyone found a decent solution?

click on them then right click on their icon next to the status bar at the top. you can hit report from there. You just gotta get to the report menu before they pop away but you usually have enough time.

No, i usually don’t. That’s the whole problem.

Print screen, get their character name, add the character to friends (or your block list), right click to report. I usually get their account name from the list and follow up with a support ticket to explain what kind of bot I was reporting, but I understand if that’s more hassle than most folks want to deal with.

If you miss them the first time, get eyes on the next closest node on your map to have a second shot.

Hit esc hit support and there is a way to take a screen shot with a report i am not sure if that the reason for it but you can do it that way.

There is just some things as a player you cant do i know Anet is on it in one way or another but these nodes are not being destroyed by bots you can still get something. Its the over all cost on the TP that is changing but even a bot army cant make the price changes that much.

Fun thing is ,anet could ban dozens of players right now by doing a simple google search,and finding a forum where people are actively searching for guilds where All people are hackers ( there are quite alot of them that i saw ),and they are hacking aswell.Names are on the page,on wich server they play,n wich guild they are,character names,account names,email,the purpose of the hacks etc…If only anet would bother.They can take care of ALOT of people by investigating those accounts.
