Q:

I went to the Drytop area to pick up a recipe, but it appears when I purchased it, I ended up with two instead of just the one I wanted.

How on earth can you return the second one that you did not expect to see purchased?

I really would appreciate help in returning this since I can’t use two of them and the vendor does not seem to have a way for me to return the extra.

Doesn’t seem to be a way to report this on the bug report…not sure how I ended up with two but I did.

You can’t do so in-game. You could try contacting support directly and asking for a refund for the second recipe. https://help.guildwars2.com/anonymous_requests/new

Yeah, this game includes buyback (which gw1 lacked) but not yet a sellback feature.

Fixed my dilemma…discovered my Artificer needed this recipe so I was able to give it to her. Not a waste after all. But thanks for the responses.

But still I would like to know if there is any way something like this can be fixed if it happens in the future.

I actually was writing my posting at the time RoseofGilead posted that response as it was not evident before I hit my “post” button…so I did mark that information down
