How to set up a guild TS server?
I think you’ll find all information right here:

I know how to set up one in my computer. I just want to know if this is what guilds do or do you hire some service or what. Thx for the very helpful post.
You can check first if your server has a TS. Mine does, and each guild can have their own channel Inside of the server TS.
As mentioned above: If your server has an TS server, why not use that one?
Of course, if you wanna keep your TS server private, you’ll have to host it. (I host my own Ventrilo-server on my desktop computer, combined with the service no-ip.org and some firewall tweaking (to allow the specific port through) allowing others (who have the connection details) to connect wihout issues..
Sorry about th LMGTFY-link, just found the question you asked so generic

@Tribio thing for me is that I live in a student dorm with a really kittenty wifi setup (VPNs and what not) so hosting it myself is out of the question. I will look up whether or not my server has a TS server.
If you dont want your own computer to be up and running TS all the time, then the cheapest way to get your own VOIP-server is to buy an Rasberry Pi and install Mumble on it. Those servers is the size of a deck of cards and runs without a noisy fan. And they dont cost more than the Guild Wars 2 game did.

I recommend Raidcall since it has 10k slots which u will never use and its free. Also its more user friendly than any voice chat ive ever seen and has more bells and whistles.
I recommend Raidcall as well, they will host your server and the interface is A LOT friendlier than the archaic TS / Vent, specially for those who want to stick around without using a mic.
