Guild Wars 2

OK I have two monitors and a GTX 650Ti card.

I know dual monitors isnt that good for gaming but want to see how it’s like. Hoever I have no idea how to set it up, the game optons only shows window, window fullscreen, and fullscreen, no option for dual of multiscreens.

So question is can I do dual monitors with this card, or do you actually need two graphics cards to do it?

Plug in your monitors go to Nvidia control panel and click on Set up multiple displays.Here you can identify your monitors as being the 1st or 2nd,and enable them.

You would have known already if you used google…just saying.

Also,this is a technical question,not Gw related.

They are enabled, I want the game to span both screens not just one.

Right clicking will only allow me to clone, not extend.

Imo the game would look horrible with the line in the middle, and I’m pretty sure for that reason it’s not possible in a lot of games, and I would have thought this is one of them but not 100%. But don’t get your hopes up that it will be playable on both screens. On the plus side with 2 screens you can keep 1 up on GW and the other with wiki or facebook, or whatever really!

There is only one mmo I know that supports 2 screen properly: Eve Online. What it does is puts your ship (character) in the middle of one of the screens so the camera rotates around one screen not the middle of both screens which would look horrible.

It would be awesome if more mmos would support such a feature.

You’d have to setup through your Nvidia setup for it to treat both screens as one elongated screen. GW2 won’t do that for you.
