It seems the atmosphere for attempting to complete events in some areas of the map has become caustic for players attempting to run events and complete areas. The event farmers (train). Has added a caustic atmosphere to the game. The marionette event was perfect for failing events. All die on failure. Instead of having events on a loop timer make it event driven. Say that Spider Queen activates after the attack by centaurs leaders, bandit boss, or undead attack in the swamp. If the event fails the timer resets no boss battle. It would cause people to do different events when trying to activate the main events. Sounds a little cold but would end failing events on purpose. Let me know what the community thinks about it.

  • Tie all loot from events mobs, etc to an event completion chest, rewarded at the end of a successful event.
  • Triple an event’s respawn time if it fails.

Done.

I like this idea. Should prevent failing on purpose.

I’d say ANet should just look at which event chains have people regularly failing the event on purpose then just buff the reward for the event that’s at the end of the chain.
