Guild Wars 2

Had a pretty good break myself, this time of year is one of the few when I get to see my family, a week away from the internet as a whole (with the exception of my phone) has been quite relaxing, though my younger siblings (youngest of which being 4, a 20 year age gap between us) definitely know how to wear me out and seem to see me more as a climbing frame than an older brother.

Managed to survive Wintersday (really don’t like it in RL). And even managed to stay awake to welcome the New Year.

Now we’ll have to wait and see what that Sylvari will drag us into this year.

participated in some new daily events with people,
cheered up a bit.. life goes on

Faced Tequatl as my first boss of the year. Then I faced the Jungle Wurm. Who need’s fireworks when you got spells, arrows and swords other stuff flying towards massive enemies.

I got my dailies done before heading out to a New Years party that is themed each year for those wishing to costume. This year’s theme was “The Oscars” so we had people in tuxes and fancy gowns, and people in red fuzzy long johns as the red carpet, people with red rope festooning them, etc. Plenty to eat, a choice of champagne or sparkling cider at midnight (I indulged in some Korbel), and a lot of chatting with people I don’t see often enough.

Today I’ll play games including GW2, relax, and hopefully remember to tune in to the Vienna New Years concert at 8 pm eastern tonight.

I hope all of you have all the time you need to have fun in and out of game as well!
