At 1080p, that will cap you at 60fps with max settings and vsync in most scenarios except really large zerg and LA.

I’m curious if anyone really can maintain a 60 on massive zerg and at LA.

Good luck with that I recently changed my afk station from LA to Divinity’s Reach.

I used to think this game is CPU bound but now I’m having 2nd thoughts. Every time I play the GPU fan starts revving, but I’ll check gpu usage tomorrow.

Doesn’t take much to rev up a GPU fan. As for the OP that’s fine. The i7 won’t buy you much for the money since none of those Asus PCs, including this one can be overclocked. Wrong MB chipset and non K CPUs.

then up your budget by about another 1000 dollars if your going with a already made desktop

With that budget, you can build your own PC and it’d be a lot better.

If not, I suggest Newegg. They have better deals on pre-built Pc.

exactly, the thing thats going to make the biggest difference in LA is going to be the processor, which should be a i7 4770k at minimum for maximum framerates.
