Guild Wars 2

So I need to replace my laptop as it’s literally falling apart (I had to use duct tape to keep it together…), and after doing some internetting I think I’m going for something along these lines:

So any ideas of how well this sort of computer would run the game?

Also is this the right place to ask this or would tech support be more fitting? Though that forum seems to be centered around bugs.

Your GPU doesn’t need to be the best; you just won’t be able to run with great graphics settings. A middling/minimum requirements one is fine.
Where this game really hits your hardware is in the processor. I have a AMD 4 core and gw2 uses 80-90% of all four cores.

From my own experience, I’d say that’s enough to get decent FPS out. i7 runs GW2 the best out of all the other processors since GW2 uses CPU a lot. The graphics should be fine too. Nvidia GT 660M is mid-high end. I think that’s enough to run on mid-high or even high graphics.

Well thats reassuring seems like it’ll work well enough then.

You’ll be happily running the game in medium. If you drop the resolution you could probably pop in some eye candy, post processing etc. But that will definitely get you through the day.
