So, apparently, at the end of every part one gets a backpiece (these being Finite Result for Part I, Upper Bound for Part II, and Unbound for Part III), right? I mean, in the wardrobe in the bank you can clearly see that, besides Ad Infinitum, those three others are also there, and they’re all available to be previewed, so I’m guessing I’m correct, right?

What happens when we’re done with Part III? Do we hand all the three backpieces to the NPC and he’ll award us with Ad Infinitum? Do we put all of them together, somehow? Or maybe, as we unlock them, we have to hand them over, rather than keep all three or something. Or perhaps there’ll be a final Part? Maybe Part IV? Where we collect components and then get awarded it.

Or what about the chest we get after each part that contains components? Maybe we’ll craft each backpiece from those?

This is all just speculation, but what do you all think? Any ideas?

Part III is the precursor. Just like for the other collections, all that grind is just for the precursor, you’ll still have a lot more to grind for in order to get the legendary item itself.

The Precursor? So Finite Result, and Upper Bound aren’t Precursors? Only Unbound? Why? And where does it say that Part III’s the Precursor? People haven’t even got that far, anyways.

3 Parts, 3 Items. Why would there be anything else after Part III if there are only three backpieces besides Ad Infinitum itself?

If you look at part one you can see you need the current fractal back piece. I would not be surprised if you needed part one for part two and part two for part three. Part four I think is the actual legendary as they said they will bring it in once they are happy with it which I believe to be Ad Infinitum (same back the Asura in the instance is wearing).

Meaning you need Finite Result to make Upper bound. Then upper bound to make Unbound and finally unbound to make ad Infinitum. Just like the spinal blade back pieces.
