I have to say the Howler Legendary precursor journey is really fun Basically you make a wolf totem out of various expensive materials, which you then use for the remainder of the precursor journey. Once in wolf form you go around the world and attack critters like snow owls, osprey, rats, and so forth, and unlock the collection items.

It is pretty refreshing when compared to some of the other precursors. It’s not quite as tedious

I did find a bug that I reported – if you change waypoints while transformed as a wolf and then try to attack a critter on your list, it doesn’t trigger. I think you have to transform wherever you are first for it to count. Changing waypoints seems to reset something that the collection needs to trigger.

Other than that though – very fun and cute precursor journey

Rodgort was also quite fun. The last tier invloved finding torches to burn things and enemies with.

Aww. But I already made 2 howlers for twice told legend achivement, before HoT came out.
