I have to ask… What is up with this hairstyle? I could see what the designer’s intent was, but it’s huge! It would look good if it wasn’t really large… Was this per design?

Now I wish I’d taken a screenie. I saw a guy in Rata Sum with it, in blonde, with sunglasses. The underlying jaw line was reasonably rugged with a bit of stubble, and his armor was some interesting plate with deep green highlights. He looked like something from an edgy movie and the hair worked well — something I’d have sworn it never could do.

The sole purpose of that hairstyle is this

Think of the cushiony protection a head of hair like that could offer.

Still looks kinda big on your character, but not AS big I guess. Haha. I guess it just doesn’t scale very well with head sizes. Nice setup, though.

Yeah when I first saw this hairstyle I thought it was a bit ridiculous – I haven’t seen anyone in real life with that amount of hair (for a male hairstyle anyway).

Then again, I guess you could say the same thing about the new charr hairstyle. Though at least you can see where that inspiration came from (Dragon kitten and the super saiyans). And the charr one is pretty funny and cool you have to admit, despite it being so overused nowadays.

This human hairstyle though? I don’t understand it :-/ I don’t think I ever will.

Honestly they should have had Asura with the Goku hair style instead of the Charr. Who wouldn’t want to turn Asura into Trolls.
