Human Ranger Lvl26 so far and not 1
That is unusually bad luck. Although do remember to try out some of the other weapons rangers can use because even if you prefer the bows having more options available will come in useful later on.
As for why it’s happening all I can say is that drops are to some extent random and whilst this is exceptional it shouldn’t last, you should start getting bows again sooner or later.
You’ll also periodically get them as story and level up rewards, and those are fixed so there’s no worry of missing out on one.

Check for karma venders/heart venders as you level up. Otherwise it’s just bad luck.

RNG problems. Though you should have gotten a few leveling up.
thanks for the replies happy gaming!
Could always try leveling Huntsman. but as Decieverx said, watch karma merchants or black market.
Like the other say, story and level-up rewards should get you class-relevant equipment, and you should definitely check out karma merchants, who are available when you fill up their yellow heart on a map.
You level up fairly quickly, so it’s okay if your gear is a little scattered, but between story rewards, level-up rewards, and karma purchases, you should be able to keep yourself geared reasonably well. What class you are has no relation to what item drops you get, so you may or may not get relevant gear from loot.
Welcome to the game!
lions arch jumping puzzle the pirate one has a karma vendor you can get a Lb from there i think those are lvl 30 weapons.

they are level 40 weapons and expensive for the sake of leveling. i found the weapons that lasted me the longest while leveling up were the ones from the karma vendor in the north east corner of Harathi. they are level 43 i think.
Just buy better gear from trading post, they only cost a few silver.
You should get bows from your story rewards.
As others have said, craft one. You will get some levels from that and you can make some nice bows. If you haven’t done crafting before, there’s some guides online that will help you get the most progression for your materials.

You should get bows from your story rewards.
will start story, haven’t yet. when’s a good lvl to start it, or does it not matter?

ok, will start crafting also.

It starts at 10 and then unlocks a new chapter every 10th level.
Have you been taking your level-up rewards? Because there are several bows there which will do just fine whilst you are levelling. Really no need to buy/craft one until you get to 80.
I recommend you look at crafting. I say this because as a newbie, your magic find isn’t very likely to result in drops that exceed Masterwork quality, which can be easily achieved in crafting. If you are collecting materials from nodes while doing your normal daily routine, then essentially it’s free.
If you start now then it will be easier to keep pace with your character leveling and thus you can always have weapons with the stats you prefer. Same with the armor but it’s not as cheap as it used to be due to the addition of Ascended recipes using tier 2-4 mats.
In general crafted weapons and armor will have better stats in certain ranges than anything you can get as a drop under rare quality. Just don’t try to craft anything using ecto until you get to level 70. Those recipes are meant for vets who have tons of gold to blow on spare gear. xD
Personally I found it very enjoyable to be able to craft my own upgrades while still leveling. Yes I did this back before Ascended armor was a thing…but if you are collecting your own mats the TP prices shouldn’t have any effect.
Personally, I found crafting to be a hassle until I was already level 80 and had enough resources to just power through it. If you craft as you level, you’ll have the best gear possible at each stage, but you outgrow it quickly enough that I quit bothering after a while. I didn’t have the best gear, but my inventory wasn’t full of items I was waiting to level into, I didn’t have to keep returning to a crafting station every 5-10 levels, and I don’t think the story is hard enough to require the best gear, anyway.
Opinions clearly vary, however, which is a good thing. Whether you decide to craft gear or just pick it up as you go, you should be fine.
You should get enough drops that you can sell many of them that you can’t use and then you can buy the bows you want on the trading post.
You should have gotten a level 25 masterwork bow from level up rewards
