I accidentally trained at the wrong trainer
You can max out every profession on one character, and then switch between them without losing any progress whenever you want.
As for Warrior, I personally like using separate professions on each of my toons that kind of fit their style. My Warrior does Armorsmith and Weaponsmith. But feel free to choose whatever you want, because as I said above, you can switch them out whenever you want without losing progress. Then switch back and forth between them all. You can have two at a time (unless you buy more via the Gem Store).
Lady Bethany Of Noh – Chronomancer – Lords of Noh [LoN]
Don’t panic it is not a problem. You have 2 active crafting abilities at any one time (can buy more active with gems for some reason) but every character can gain experience in every craft, switch by talking to the npc, you do not lose any experience if it is switched out to a different one.
As said above it is not really vital which you take but if you only have the warrior a armour crafting and weapon crafting works.
Edit: guess I was slow in typing. Also use https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players for better advice.

That’s so awesome. Didn’t know I can switch professions whenever I want and actually own them all, maxed out. So no one has to trade with anyone, if you put your mind to it and with some luck, you can craft anything yourself. Perfect thinking ArenaNet, once again, they did it better than anyone else.

Thanks for the second comment. I appreciate you confirming it! Thanks for directing me to that forum link, didn’t know it was there. And the gem store, lol that’s a way for them to make money. It makes sense you’d have to pay if you want more professions at one time. It’s not crucial for the game at all but a nice thing to have I guess instead of going back and forth.
Yeah, if you accidentally accepted and don’t need it, it’s no big deal to switch to something else.
BE AWARE though, that while you won’t lose any progress on your crafting levels, it does cost a fee to switch back to a formerly known crafting discipline, if you ever want it back. It’s 10 copper per crafting level, so 50s for a maxed one at 500. So I’d advise on no more than 2 crafts per chara, unless you get additional crafting licenses.
If you can easily get multiple crafting disciplines to 500, paying fifty silver every time you need to swap is nothing.

Maybe so, but personally, I don’t want to spend those 50s if its not neccessary. Also, I do have a few crafts at 500 but I’m not exactly swimming in gold, so those 50s every time could add up to a more substantial loss for me.
