I became an elitist ....

Get a Guild of like minded people
Tried, sadly I have had no luck yet so have to do with PUGs in the meantime ^_-
Xuro.5861, I’m on par with you. Especially FotM.
Went in there, we got the giant fractal. This guy went down 3 times while we were fighting the first hammer guy, before even starting.
I said “I better not see a stack of luck when he dies”. Lo and behold, a stack of luck.
I left that group ASAP.
I’ve started a “contact list” guild of elitists. Raging and flaming at noobs is encouraged. Kicking for noobness is also encouraged. Want in?
Personally, I run dungeons all evening, every day. I can steamroll through most of them.

Understandable but sad. I never lose my patience with players and I try to be helpful all the time.
Maybe because I like helping people and when I explain how things work and assist people it makes me feel good to help someone else. Versus when you had to explain things you did it to get the group to work so you could complete your task to help yourself.
We both had a self interest in explaining things, just mine was more fluffy
Thanks for letting us know… that’s one name I can cross off my list for possible groupings… bad attitudes are less welcome in my parties than noobs.

I did it for the same reasons as you but after 4 months I figured it’s not worth the stress/hassle anymore. The last thank you I got was over a month ago while I still helped quite some people in dungeons/fractals. They just leave without a word afterwards.
I don’t need thanks and it never stresses or hassles me unless the person is being belligerent and all knowing while I’m trying to help. But that is not an issue with me helping, that is an issue with people being rude :p

This is soooo discouraging to me and others like me. I’ve been casual about GW2 for a while, and because of that, I haven’t been doing anything other than story mode on dungeons. However, I’ve got coordinated run (3/6/8/12 person) experience in GW and Lotro. Now, I’m switching my focus to GW2 and was looking forward to running with experienced folks to get up to speed on dungeons here.
But, if the skilled players are headed this way…. Maybe I missed the boat.
Uru Kalach (80-War)/Kalthin Leafletter (80-Rgr)/Kalfun Gai (72-Guardian)
Leader – An Unexpected Kinship (AUK)
I’ve got all the patience in the world for newbs willing to learn.
Noobs though. If they don’t buck up, even after I’ve told them what they’re doing wrong, get kicked.
Time is a river.
The door is ajar.

my guilds more than willing to teach as are many players in the game i think
just dont head into dungeons with full magic fined gear and i think you should be ok
My warrior just turned 80. I may start to do fractals soon. I guess I’m level 1 fractal or whatever as I’ve never done one much less completed one.
So if I get into your group somehow, you’d probably need to just point out the basics of the fight. I don’t need much info, just what to sort of look out for. I raided as a rogue in “the game that shall not be named” for about 7 years. I’m rather good at avoiding things by now.
You may be making your gaming experience more difficult by assuming too much.
I have also encounterd Players that Die in a fight seemingly because they walked away from there PC so its me and 3 others left to finish up
wow thanks for the heads up glad that I never had a chance to meet ya
I threw a suggestion up in the suggestion forum about having a set of options in the LFG tool (that I hope they add) that would allow for players to select the level of experience they are looking for when match making. Although I did not include a complete kitten bag option, it seems it should probably have one if they add such a feature.
Hi everyone,
