Guild Wars 2

I applied the grenth hood on my thief at low level. Forgot that the helmet I used was the headband and I put it in my bank. I deleted the thief and wanted to put the helmet on my new Ranger… What do I do?! It said account bound, but now it says soulbound to another character.

I don’t know how to access my hood that was paid off with real money :/

Its gone. Once you delete a character that the item was soulbound to, you can’t get it back.
FYI: Using the transmutation stone on the headband made it soulbound.
Also, I have submitted a ticket before when I did this with another gem store item. They will not let you get it back.

would be best to send anet a support ticket. Ask them to make it account bound, or refund you the gem so you can buy another one

Yeah it sucks but you can try submitting a ticket. Let me know if it does work though because they denied my claim, even though I had proof. They said there is nothing they can do about that type of situation.

I’m sorry to hear that they denied your claim! That’s really unfair. Did you pay actual money or pay with gold?

Everything I’ve bought from the Gem Store I have paid with in real cash so, they better refund/replace it!!!! >:(

I use actual money now but I don’t think I did for the item I lost so maybe you will get lucky and they will help you out.

I will tell you one thing though. I will never make that mistake again. Honestly IDK why things have to be soulbound in the first place. Account bound should be the only way items are bound to you.

I agree, items that are soulbound are just a pain in the butt :/
