Im on northern shiver peaks tough ive got freinds Gandreran, problem is i cant guest that server and i dont feel like paying the high amount of money that i would have to pay to be able to transfer as im low on money right now.
Can i make another character on another server or do i have to have all on only one server if so id like to hear why as ive never played an mmo where you cant.

Nope, all characters are on the same server, so you’ll either have to pay the transfer fee or delete all of your characters to transfer for free.

They done it that way because of WvW, since you represent a server.

Ok i would pay if i dident have to pay of what i think it was 25$ wich is more than the game iself.

You can’t play with them since they are on EU servers. If they were on an NA server, you could play with them anytime (accept WvW). Any reason you picked a NA server if your friends are on EU?

You can sell all your gear and items and give the gold to your friend so you will not be starting from step 1. Or ask your friend to help you with gold to transfer gold to gems though i think its about 300G atm or more gold to gems is realty bad atm due to all the old items come back to the BLS.

I guess that could work sad thing tough is that the friend on NA will be sad if i live as i cant guest his server, ill probably still switch as one of my family members are on the eu server now. It really does suck how you cant play with everyone even tough i understand it.
And ill also loose lvl witch have been taking a lot of my time

The absoulete best would be if you could make one more character on another server even if your representing a server.

Would really surprise me if deleting the last character reset your bank, achievements and/or your currency pocket. I never tried, so did someone tried this?

Leveling is rather fast, the only thing you loose is soul-bound items.

You don’t lose anything account-bound when deleting all characters to transfer at no cost. Your wallet, your bank, etc. all stays intact.

True its just sad, and ill have to leave the American friend ive got but i mean family first.
Im just feeling it isent massive multilayer online game if i cant play with eu freinds and my little brother and at the same time being able to play with the american.

You just missed buying a 2nd account for just 19.99€

Data storage between EU (in Germany) and NA (in the US) is different to avoid long load time. In fact, transferring between NA and EU gives you quite a while time-out.
