So I’m going through my mail. It’s the typical stuff bills, bills, credit card offers, bills, junk, and etc. You guys get the point, but then I find plain envelope from Anet. I’m like what could this be?

So I open it and it’s a card. Wishing me happy holidays signed by the Anet staff. This is the first time any company let alone a video game company, I’ve seen do this. So thank you Anet! It may not seem like much, but it proves you actually care about player base.

So thank you again for a great game, and I wish you guys happy holidays.

Lol 2 million+ stamps used just to mail a card to players that no longer maybe play, are not even Christians and that’s not counting all the overseas mail and 10 times the price! Was a nice try though! WD.

The devs already stated these weren’t sent to every player, the were only sent to an undisclosed amount of active accounts in the US, chosen at random.

And that’s irrelevant anyway, as the OP stated ‘Happy Holidays’, and the game itself celebrates “Wintersday”.

Maybe for purchasing 1000+ real dollars spent on gems.

Cool! A really nice gesture, though it is only for random(?) few. I always hope Barnes & Noble will send me a greeting card as a loyal customer, I buy plenty of books & cards from them.. sulk
