I don’t like spending 70 runs in 1 dungeon for gear that is worst than running a raid/heroics for gear

70 runs? How did you get that math for a dungeon set?

HoTW gear set = 2280 tokens including weapons (Excluding underwater weapons – Mace/Shield/Longbow). At BARE min of one explorable run a day at geting 60 tokens = 38 runs. Over a month basically. Since most people run Butchers/Plunder as they are the easiest path that actually goes to 120 tokens per day – which then leads to 19 total runs: basically a little over two weeks.

Both of these dungeons take a good group roughly 25ish mins to run and a badish group 1 hr at max to run.

Sorry but 70 runs is a little out of this world as you would have a total of 4200 tokens. Go ahead and go to Lions Arch and add that up a full set.

This discussion turns up in every new game these days. Pretty wierd. Its like going into the hardware store and telling them it is nice they offer hammers but why in the world didn’t they think of making the hammers be able to saw.

People should stop buying games because of the hype and actually check out the information to see if a game is their type of game

right now i have around 450+ hrs played in 1 single character and i havent even seen all the maps in the world, lol
i dont understand how people can get bored of this game this quick

What are you, a tourist? Not everyone who plays MMOs is the explorer type who finds it interesting just to wander around through zones. Maybe if there were some spectacular story-telling that accompanied it, but there really isn’t.

Lol im not that much of a tourist
those hrs count the WvW time, sPvP times, puzzle jumping times
ther’s a LOT of content in the game, that’s what i mean by not understanding how people can get bored! lol

Outside of raid instances which I haven’t seen. This game offers more of a variety of “endgame” activities than most mmos I’ve ever played, including years of WoW.

So I hear you don’t really like mmos but though you would never admit it, got soo addicted to one of them that it left your online gaming existance bitter & pointless.

Variety of endgame activities? Grinding DE’s over and over is no different than doing daily quest in WoW. Infact, you get less out of it, so its worse, its actually more of a grind.

lol, how can you say “you get less out of it”? Do you have a WoW-to-GW2 currency converter or something?
