You joking? How are the waypoints better? All it does is start a mini deathmatch zerg inside the JP (when people still played it). The whole point is for your server to have control of the JP and to defend it from invaders, not mindlessly respawn endlessly. Poor game design. Even if they increased the loot, the JP would still be garbage because of the waypoints. The WP killed the JP! Let me guess, people cried because you have to walk back?
They took it out of EB and made it its own instance so that people in the puzzle aren’t taking up a much needed slot on EB. That was the reason for the change. Which means, the waypoint can’t be in EB, because EB is now another zone.

I just did that JP yesterday, I noticed no difference in my completion of it. Took the same amount of time, had the same level of encounters. Why is this an issue?

*yeh there should be some sort of timer (~ 30 seconds) maybe for the wps like in spvp
The difference between the WP there is now, and running back (the old way) is maybe 30 seconds. Is this really worth a complaint thread? I agree it is a huge improvement that people can now do the JP without tying up a WVW slot.
As far as the loot at the end of the JP…it has always sucked….unless you want badges….

OR GvG without tying up slots in WvW. Its pretty fun to fight and try to knock enemies off the cliffs or into traps when its a closed system like this.
And free badges after 5 mins of jumping? Do it everyday and get cheap exotics for alts, awesome. Also good place for extra Ori nodes.
