I feel sad about leaving, truely sad
It know what you mean, really sad having to leave the game and brand you enjoy so much, especially for those of us who have dedicated many years to GW1 and having come from GW1.
Been hanging around the forum to see if any dev will respond to all these frustration, so far its been quiet.

Same here. Grasping for a straw.
You can just tell from the feel of things this game is driven by economics, GW1 was driven by passion. At least the first 2 years of GW1 when I played you got the sense the devs were actually playing the game.
smack..Wut?…smack…smack…
Game hasn’t been out long enough for me to feel sad if I were to leave the 20th.
Can I has your stuff?
Having left several mmo’s now, and two in particular that I was really looking forward to and wanted to succeed, I feel your pain. I’m not investing my soul in to this game so I’m hoping it won’t be too bad when I get to your stage.

For some of it is, because we were so bonded to GW1 (god walk amongst mere mortal) everything from the storyline, gameplay to the npc personality (I miss how Olias/Koss would leeroy into every mob), heck I miss all my GW1 Heroes (Olias, Whisper, Livia, discord built XD), then 200 years later the descendant of our great character takes on a great threat. Sound very epic does it not? and having to leave all that it is very sad, at least to me ^_^
GW1 vet here. GW2 is nothing I wanted. Haven’t logged in since I beat the Mad King clocktower.
Instead of creating a new thread, just gonna post here. I’m sad that my bros and I are shelving GW2 mainly because the game had so much potential. But, the fact is that, for us (casual players ~ 3hrs per week), the game isn’t fun. Maybe we’ll come back to it, but for now it feels like the game is crumbling. It sucks feeling this way… we want to play, we’re willing to pay, but, GW2 and ANET are not delivering. It seems like the community is shouting this to ANET, but nobody’s listening. Mike O’Brien once said that they’re betting the company on this game… I wonder if he’s reading the forums and, if so, if he’s having some sleepless nights.
