I found a dragon beneath the map...
That looks an awefull lot like tequatel the sunless to me.
which is odd :S
Not at all strange after you realise it´s orr zone, and if you look up in those zones you see plenty of those flying around.

If you had killed it, you would realise it has a 100% chance to drop a precursor!
Probably the load model for the ones flying around fighting the ships.
There’s a similar object in the water under ratasum, containing all weapons and players you load.
Maguuma – [TriM][DERP]
I’m shocked that there was not a little flock of bots riding it.

Eh? That doesn’t make sense, you don’t have to actually place an object on the map to load it. Assets are loaded in memory, then called up whenever needed.
Probably a leftover from map development they just didn’t bother to remove (or left intentionally as an easter egg, or maybe even a “players-found-another-glitch-in-the-map” gimmick )

Is that what the ones in the sky look like too? (Sorry for the stupid question but I haven’t gotten there yet.)
Generally in video games, or any kind of 3D modelled environment you start with a cube made of your sky texture (or space or etheral mists or whatever the background is), build your world within that and then add cliffs or invisible walls or whatever to the edges so players can’t reach the point where the terrain stops.
But this does mean that if you get beyond, or below, those edges what you’ll see is the ground suddenly ending and going into the sky image, even if real world physics tells you that you should be underground or underwater.
So if these dragons are flying around the sky in this zone they’d be all over the sky texture and therefore if you go far enough in any direction eventually all you’ll see is sky and dragons.
(Also apologies to any game designers or 3D modellers for the horribly mangled terminology in this post.)
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
Actually, those dragons you can see in the sky in Orr are animated 3D models, just like the airships – so if you go below the ground plane you shouldn’t see any.
However, when building maps in a map editor, it is common to place assets temporarily on the map so you can do various stuff with it (from easy size reference and adjustment to simple copy/pasting). These assets of course are cleaned up before you push the map out. That dragon is very likely just a leftover, probably intentionally left in as a sort of an easter egg.

Interesting find. I wonder what it would be like if this was a real zone to fight in…
Those kitten dragons are everywhere. We should form up a dredge flying battalion to fight this one.
I found it before you^^

Sadly because he keeps running the same event tequatel has run up against the DR dissapointed by the drops, the problems with players corpses dissapering before he can loot them and the clipping problems during his fights meaning he gets back stabbed before he can breath on people, tequatel it apears is now using under map botting

He missed one:
The dragon must be an engineer.

Considering teq looks like every other undead dragon no it’s not
This one looks very similar to one of the flying dragons in the Arah story. Pre-loaded model for the event?
