While running AC path 1 I got an exotic trident from a random mob and didn’t think anything of it until I tried selling it on the BL after the run. The buy order was at 40 gold so I was just thrilled that this would turn into the money for my ascended weapon crafting. I linked it in the guild saying I was going to make some cash and sold it.
Unbeknownst to me, a moment later a guildie said they just spent a lot of time at the forge trying to get lucky for that particular precursor. PRECURSOR???
I got one as a drop and didn’t even realize it! Though I have no interest in a legendary trident, I would have kept a hold of it at least a little while longer to oggle it and feel lucky. I still feel pretty excited that one finally landed for me though.
