So i did my pve monthly, got 10, just did my pvp monthly and i got another 10?

Time to play some PvP for me!

Confirmed. I did the PvE monthly weeks ago and got 10 laurels. Today I completed my PvP Monthly due to this rumor. Confirmed, I got another 10 laurels. This was before they kicked us off for a new build an hour ago.

Hmm interesting. I doubt i’ll ever be able to get this done though. Winning tournament matches probably isn’t going to happen since i’d have to pug them…

Yeah… wtf. I finished the PvP monthly two days ago. Lame.

Are dailies/monthly PVP always going to give laurels? Or is this just a bug?

This is a bug. They state in the patch notes that you should only be able to do One of the two Monthlies for laurels.

Bullkitten. Remove the laurels from those who got them wrongly or reimburse those who did the pvp monthly earlier… 10 laurels is no joking matter, and puts many players a week and a half ahead of others for no good reason.

OP probably did PvE monthly before patch and PvP after patch. If that’s the case, it sucks not everyone will be in a position to take advantage of it – but probably doesn’t mean it will keep happening moving forward.

I spent my laurels and salvaged my old exotic so i hope they dont remove them

This is a one time glitch in their system. going forward you can get monthly laurels from PvE OR PvP, not both. But if you did 1 of the monthlies before the patch and 1 after you still get the bonus because it wasn’t tracked before the patch for whatever reason.

They removed this already.

I think a lot of players (the ones who strive to do their monthlies ASAP) are going to be pretty upset about this unless there is something done.

You can’t take away the 10 that were given to players via the bug, as they may have already spent them.

They could just give 10 laurels to anyone who completed both pre-patch. Then again, do they have the ability to track that?

So what else can I do to advance my PvE via PvP? Or my PvP via Pve? :|

I honestly think it’s not fair and needs to be reverted, or disabling next month pve/pvp monthly reward for those players.

Why is it not fair? No one plays SPvP anyways since it doesn’t actually give you any rewards that can be used in 99% of the game.

Yeah thats not fair then I too would like another 10 laurels for having done both.

1. Yes, they added laurels for Daily/Monthly PvP

BUT…

2. IT’S NOT MEANT for both to give laurels. If you completed 1 – the 2nd should give only standard reward.

Daily and monthly laurels can be obtained through either PvP or PvE achievements. You cannot earn additional laurels from doing both, players can simply chose to do one or the other. They will still receive all other normal daily/monthly rewards should they chose to do both PvE and PvP achievements.

So i guess it’s a little glitch and 1 time “feature”. Seems like system did not recognize that you already completed PvE monthly before the patch.

If they don’t balance this out for everybody (selfishly put: I want my 10 laurels, kitten it!), it pretty much feels like a slap in the face for those you already did their PvP Monthly.

Its not that they think its bad, they just want separate rewards for each, they like to treat them like different games.

Considering some people have already gotten the laurels and spent them, your only option is to suck it up and deal with it.

Nothing you can get for Laurels can be used in SPvP. It makes no sense to me to give them as a reward. I’d like to be able to get some PvP skins and use them in PvE, but I can’t. SPvP has it’s own reward scheme to keep it “balanced”.

Jeebus, SPvP is the ONLY part of the game I never want to play and now it gets 10 laurels. I haven’t completed that monthly yet and I still don’t want to even for 10 laurels.

Either credit everyone who didn’t get them 10 laurels or take away the other player’s laurels perhaps putting them in the negatives. 1-2 hour windows for patch-day laurels were one thing. 10 laurels is a ridiculous discrepancy.

this sounds a lot like a bug.. better do them now before they got fixed. 10 laurels is huge.
