I heard all the ways to beat it are fixed such as using a rejuvenation booster and the box of fun and petrify yourself.

Why did Anet fix these methods if he is impossible to win against?

It’s certainly tricky, but it’s entirely possible. I did it without the exploitative methods when it came out. It’s meant to be challenging.. I think it took me somewhere between 10 and 20 tries before I got a tactic going and was on my way to succeeding.

I believe Dulfy had some tips and tricks on how to win and which skills to use when.

Most certainly beatable by effort without those silly methods.
He’s not meant to be beaten in a single game, nor 5. It takes time to learn his moves. I did it, like the above poster, in more than 15 tries. If you’re more than 20 games in and still having trouble, read a few guides and memorize his moves.

This is nonsense, he is purely RNG based and all the people who claimed they beat him without using the patched out tricks are either liars or lucky. The rest of us who didn’t do it when the cheats were possible are now stuck with a game of chance. It is upsetting to see so many people not give a kitten about other players just because they already got theirs.

So if anybody has any useful input aside from “L2P” it would be appreciated.

It’s not very nice to beat kittens….even if they are kittening…

I beat him w/o any cheats, but its just luck at that point. You have to learn some strat (being aggressive with drinks to maximize your belches), but it really comes down to getting lucky so that he doesn’t spam you with his bluff-blocker too many times in a row.

There isn’t a fool-proofed strat for winning, you need luck.
