Thanks again Gaile for the hookup. I could have stayed more but honestly after that show, there’s little else I was interested in seeing. I had to get back to get on the interwebs hype train. I should say my faith in Anet has been very greatly restored.

Mike Obrien settled the vertical treadmill question very early on, much to my relief. And everything beyond that, I am so excited for. I’m watching Mike and Colin being interviewed on Twitch right now and I just want more info. I want to soak up every bit of new info I can.

At some point somebody in the crowed yelled “take my monies!!”, and I have to say I share that sentiment. Congrats Arena Net. Well played.

OMG Mike just said they will have a playable version of HoT at PAX East.

Share your sentiments. I did have fun and ended up listening/chatting with a couple fans about the game while I waited. I’m excited for the game and story as well as new possibilities if they do in fact decide to continue the living story updates along side this new expansion as well as possible future additions to speculate for time to come!

I was in the same boat as you, not really interested in much else that was at PAX but I did get to see Angry Joe, a youtuber I’ve subscribed to for a while now.

Did you get the opportunity to talk to the devs? If you did did you or anyone there asked then about new dungeons? They talked about gvg and wvw and gliders but they didnt talk about dungeons. I would like to know if new dungeons is still on the table.

This is a tiny sampling of the endless horde of people in line to get a t-shirt while leaving from the auditorium after the show (at least I think that’s what it was for). I did not choose to wait in anymore lines however. The room apparently seated 1500 people, and from the looks of it, it was pretty close to capacity. I would have liked to meet the devs, but no I didn’t. But I left that show feeling like “wow, my entire day is complete now!”

I have a guildie who was there, and even showed up in several camera shots of the audience! She got to be up front so by the time she got out the tshirts were gone — but somehow after that she did score one. She is a very happy woman by all she’s posted about her PAX experiences.

Yeah, my daughter and I appeared on camera numerous times as we were in the first few rows. I look forward to watching it on youtube. I wanted to get more pics from the actual show, but the lighting wasn’t doing my phone camera any favors.

The line was for the HoT t-shirt and pin. I was in the 2nd row closest to the exit so maybe that’s why I was able to get them.

I don’t think I appeared in many shots. Was wearing a rather distinctive black and white horizontal-stripe hoodie. Most of the shots were of the middle.
