I started EQ 1 in HS after playing Quest for Glory and Legends of Kesmia and Everune was born much to my exercise regimens total deficit (no I dont RP -no H8-). #SuperWhoop!
In high school right before EQ2 and WOW came out I had to make a choice… EQ2 was not going to run on my laptop so WOW it was and I fell in love… not with the 40 man raiding (though I loved that) but rather with the structure and the friends… Neltherian has many tears to describe all of the awesome moments that I have had and the total #win that I felt at many of these experiences so much hard work so much reward and so much win… ;P
Fast forward to a BA and and MA E.d. later… and despite stints at EVERY major MMO the first real break that I have had from WoW in YEARs was GW2 … and it has been AWESOME … Personal story / Asura = #Win dynamic events more #win … and overall I have really enjoyed the experience BUT there is something missing…
While GW2 is great for casual play… I cannot bring myself to grind fractals (I #LOATH jumping and non storied repetitiveness…) . Even if I could there is not the strategy that I remember with learning fights and getting people together SAVING THE WORLD (or at least killing BIG dragons)… SOMETHING is missing in GW2 and I wish it was there SOOOOOO much…
I don’t NEEED raiding per say but I miss some clear structured high level PvE events… The dragon events ALMOST do it for me but its not a guild thing and its not coordinated enough… No need for long strategy talks and fun nights figuring out the tricks of the events / getting the execution right…
For those that #HATE raiding I get that too… raiding is at best a love hate relationship (always striving never fully beating) and Im not asking for GW2 to be something that it isn’t but I just want a greater and MEANINGFUL PvE challenge and the content to do that with… I dont know what that looks like but I do know some of the feelings I am missing… Im also willing to pay for it #GemShop
AreanaNet please #HELP and make GW2 a better game for those that miss this type of PVE Challenge…. we will be forever grateful and loyal.
