Guild Wars 2

Hi, i played GW2 when it was released a lot. And i loved the game. I made a long brake for more than one year, but now i am back. And i still like the game. Why?

Try other games. Play any other MMO. GW 2 is better.

-Its free from sucking busines models that give you the feeling you can only be on top if u invest money every day.

-At least in PVE you can play the way you want or at least: There are more than one viable OP Build that everyone has to play or gets hated.

-It is possible for casual gamers to reach max level and best or close to best endgame gear. (No infinte grinding/ farming)

There might be more positives and i know there are ofcourse negatives too. Like in any game. But when i read this Forum i read so much complain about GW2 i felt liek i have to say this:

Guild Wars 2 is a good game. I like it. I enjoy to play it. I log in now and play it!

Good to hear some positive comments for once. This forums seems overburdened with negative anymore. I feel like there’s still tons of players enjoying the game as much as you (and I’m one of them). The difference is they spend their time in game enjoying it so not many come on here to post the good things.

As goes with many sites. The negative seems to show up more because when someone has a complaint they turn to the internet.

Well, not that this will surprise anyone, but I agree OP. This game is a lot of fun for me. It’s not without it’s faults, but it’s far better for me than any other MMO I’ve played.

I like gw2 thou somethings in it are silly, i wouldn’t agree its the best mmo and im sure if you did a google search you could find gw2 isnt even in the top 10 list of many reviews,
wow is probably the best mmo, around 8 million paying customers cant all be wrong, the reason i don’t play wow? i do.

Great to hear! Posted one of these myself a few weeks back, having played I don’t know how many mmos at this point, GW2 is definitely up there among, if not THE best there is.

Yay for positive affirmation! You are not alone in enjoying the game, I promise!

GW2 has tons of positives marred by people’s past experiences clouding the things they do right with the game. The fact ascended gear is an issue in a game that can be beaten in rares makes my head hurt on levels I can’t properly express, for an example. It creates a contentious environment, especially when you add the internet ’s perchance for hyperbole to the mix.

It’s a fine game that needs a solid punch to really take it up a notch. I hope all the stuff they’ve been doing in the background will be that punch.
